What Opens Next After Community Foundations
This handout explains what a new member should expect in the Community after finishing FacPro Community Foundations. The point is not to do everything at once. The point is to know which spaces become available and choose one smart participation step.
What changes after onboarding
Your view of groups, discussions, resources, events, and role-specific spaces becomes broader based on your role and membership level.
You receive FacPro Community Certified Member as your onboarding credential.
The dashboard starts guiding you toward useful member, moderator, admin, instructor, sponsor, partner, or organization actions.
What to look at first
- Dashboard: review your Community prompts, group suggestions, events, and next steps.
- Notifications: look for replies, invitations, reminders, or role-specific updates.
- Profile: add enough context that other members know who you are.
- Groups: join one space that fits your role, organization, or current question.
- Discussions: read one thread and decide whether to reply, follow, or save it.
- Resources and events: save one resource or register interest in one live session.
How to avoid overload
Group, discussion, resource, event, or organization workspace. Start with one.
Focus on what helps your current role, team, or organization.
The platform is meant to be used over time, not all at once.
A smart first-week plan
- Day 1: finish Community Foundations and review the dashboard.
- Day 2: update your profile and notification preferences.
- Day 3: read one discussion or join one relevant group.
- Day 4: save one resource or register interest in one event.
- Day 5: return to the Community space you want to stay with.
After completion
